Eva is the dental administrator at 16th Avenue Dental. She is a big believer in making a good first impression, and enjoys being the first voice of communication and the first face you see when you enter our clinic.

Understanding insurance coverage can be difficult, so Eva’s goal is to ensure that the financial aspect of your dental treatment goes smoothly so that you can have peace of mind while getting the dental care you need. Eva is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.

During her leisure time, Eva enjoys playing badminton and hiking through the mountains.

Marcia is originally from Winnipeg and graduated from the University of Manitoba. She has been practicing as a hygienist for 42 years and almost half of that time was spent at 16th Avenue Dental. She’s known to make our patients feel comfortable with her calm demeanor and gentle hands.

During her free time, Marcia loves traveling, including visiting her cottage. However, her most enjoyable moments are time spent with her grandchildren.

Fun fact: she is a diehard Winnipeg Jets fan!

Michelle was born and raised in Calgary, but her family is originally from Vietnam. She has been practicing as a dental hygienist at our clinic for over five years. Her positive vibe along with her gentle bedside manner puts her patients at ease. One of her lifelong goals is to travel and volunteer in a third-world country and provide care where dental health care is not easily accessible.

In her free time, Michelle can be found spending time with her dog, family and friends. She also enjoys working out and discovering new hiking trails in the mountains.

Fun fact: she is looking forward to her first powerlifting competition!

Registered Dental Assistant

Amanda has been working in the dental field for over 10 years. With her four years of work experience as a dental receptionist combined with her six years of working as a dental assistant, she is great at answering all insurance and clinical-related questions from our patients. Amanda is also known for her gentle and caring demeanour. She knows how to quickly put our patients at ease and takes pride in developing meaningful relationships with anyone under her care.

In her spare time, Amanda enjoys every moment spent with her daughter, husband, two cats and dog. She also enjoys making unique greeting cards amongst her many other fun craft projects.

Fun fact: She has a strong background in IT so if there’s ever a computer issue at our office, she can easily troubleshoot and fix the problem!
